The Curators is the creative consultancy arm of Photo North, a Community Interest Company that believes in the power of photography to inform, inspire and create positive social change.
Led by Sharon Price and Peter Dench, we work with galleries, museums, local authorities, universities, charities, businesses and cultural organisations to create exhibitions, festivals and creative projects that engage audience, spark conversation and leave a lasting impact.

Sharon Price & Peter Dench
Peter and Sharon more than 45 years' combined experience in photography, exhibitions and cultural programming.
Together they founded Photo North Festival and have produced more than 100 exhibitions, festivals and public events across the UK. Their work spans major exhibitions with internationally recognised photographers alongside community-led projects that champion emerging talent, nurture new voices and broaden access to the arts.
Everything we do is shaped by a commitment to making photography accessible, engaging and relevant to diverse audiences, using visual storytelling to inspire, challenge perceptions and creative positive social change.
