Peter Dench is a photographer, writer, educator, curator & Director of Photo North Festival. With over 25 years’ experience across advertising, editorial, corporate & portrait photography, he has earned international acclaim, including a World Press Photo award.
The author of books: THE DENCH DOZEN: Great Britons of Photography Vol 1, Dench Does Dallas & has written for The New Yorker, Telegraph Magazine & major photography journals.
He has also presented TV documentaries such as What is it to be English? and Brexit Leavers’ Voices: Burnley for Channel 4.
Peter will be presenting a talk/screening.

This Bath Photography Competition Finalists Event is an evening packed full of exhibitions, talks & screenings.
We will be excited to announce the winners of the Student Photo Competition, judged by Photo North Curators and Channel 4’s Senior Pictures Team. The announcements will be made by Peter Dench, photojournalist and co-curator of Photo North, alongside David Campbell, Managing Director of Alumno – award-winning specialists in designing and developing student accommodation at Prestige Student Living, Hollis Wharf.
