YEAR TWO: Join us for our second sensational annual line up of international photographers, exhibitions and events.

Photo North Festival is back for a second year from 30 Nov - 2nd Dec ‘19, at Harrogate Convention Centre. Building on the success of the inaugural festival in Harrogate, this unique photography event is aimed at the professional photographer, art-enthusiast, keen amateur and students.

The festival brings together a sensational display of exhibitions, talks, walks, workshops and portfolio reviews from highly respected and emerging artists.

The Photo North team aim to create a lively festival where everyone feels welcome and engaged and leaves feeling nourished and inspired.

There’s lots to enjoy with a programme of live music, food stalls and a licensed bar.

Visitors can browse the industry trade stands and book stalls or just relax with friends or make new ones.

Monday 2nd December will become our Education Day with participation and presence from education organisations and students from across the north of the UK.

Photo North Harrogate 2018 welcomed over 500 visitors, to witness 12 exhibitions consisting of over 180 photographs. Eight talks were delivered along with three film screenings, which created lively debate. Students were tasked to curate one of the exhibitions and benefited from free portfolio reviews from industry experts. Money was raised for several charities.

We look forward to seeing you, Sharon, Peter and Georgia

Dear Peter and Sharon, just a note to say thank you very much for inviting me to Photo North Festival 2018. I had a great time, made some useful contacts and sold some books. Very much worth while. Your support is appreciated.

What a fantastic and inspiring weekend at Photo North. Well done Photo North and all involved for curating something so wonderful. After spending the whole weekend chatting with some brilliant minds, what little is left of my own has now imploded! However, the number one thing, what it has inspired me to do is come up with a new project of my own for next year...
