images that resonate
Photographs and bodies of images have the power to inform the viewer in multiple ways, whether this is through the subject or external factors. However, when we visit exhibitions, we rarely learn anything personal about the image-maker, other than certain formal choices they made. ‘Images that resonate’ aims to expose a side to the photographer rarely witnessed. Our intentions for the exhibition, is to display poignant, meaningful and ‘resonating’ single images provided by a diverse range of photographers. Whilst acting like somewhat of a visual account, the images will also add an interesting dynamic to the way they are viewed by a detached audience.
